Service in the SLAA Fellowship occurs at many levels:
Learn more about all of these service opportunities in the Quick Links section on the right.
We encourage you to attend 2 or 3 Intergroup meetings before deciding (via phone conference). Even if you’re not sure if this it is right for you, keep coming back. You are always welcome. If you’d like the Corresponding Secretary to send you the materials each month before the meeting, make a request using this web contact form.
Intergroup phone meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7pm to 8:30pm.
Intergroup members share their ideas and lend their support to new areas for recovery, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We welcome your group’s help and input so GDVI can offer the best recovery for every member and the good for our Fellowship. We have a Board Chair, Co-Chair, Treasurer, Recording and Corresponding Secretaries, Retreat Chair, Social Activities Chair, Literature Chair, and committees.
Check out and familiarize yourself with our Intergroup website, slaadvi.org.
If you choose to be an Intergroup Rep, you will represent your group, vote on issues, report to your meeting about what we are working on and collect feedback as needed to be shared at the next Intergroup meeting.
There are many areas of service in the Fellowship as a whole that any member of S.L.A.A. can be a part of, regardless of being involved with GDVI. Share your experience, strength, and hope for the good of the Fellowship. See what is available by going to slaafws.org/committees. And take a look at the whole website while you are there.

The Sex and Love Addicts Anonymous Greater Delaware Valley Intergroup (GDVI) covers the geographic areas of Eastern Pennsylvania, Central and Southern New Jersey, and the state of Delaware. A central hub where individuals and groups can access information and services including meeting listings, literature, recovery retreats, and fellowship events, and opportunities for inter-meeting cooperation, our key outreach activities include a monthly newsletter and e-mail updates, the Inspiration Line and Story Line. We also send delegates to represent our 60+ S.L.A.A. in-person, virtual, and hybrid meetings at the Fellowship Wide Services Annual Meeting.
Any member of the fellowship is able to provide service on the Intergroup’s committees and the monthly Intergroup Board Meeting.
