This 4 day, 3 night retreat will explore how untreated and unresolved early trauma almost always develops into addiction. This workshop will be limited to 8 to 10 women (using pronouns she/her)who identify as a sex and love addict. This will be a very intense weekend. Michael S., a 37 year member of the S.L.A.A. Fellowship will be working with you as you uncover and release trauma and healing the body and mind. Michael has participated in and received training in this method of healing. He will be guiding you in the emotional release work throughout the weekend ensuring safety and comfort. He has also held mini workshops at the GDVI Spring retreat for the last three years. Melissa K., a member with 19 years of recovery in S.L.A.A. will be there as a support to the women during non sessions and during the 12 step meetings.

Location:  Temenos is intentionally set apart as a living sanctuary for wildlife and humans alike, situated in a 57-acre grove of sacred trees in West Chester County, PA. The space is there to allow individuals and groups to nourish body, mind, and spirit through renewal, relaxation and contemplation.

The main retreat house is where most of the retreat is held. It is divided into a two-room living/dining area and a multipurpose sanctuary/meeting room. It is situated along Broad Run Stream.

Cost:  $695 includes 9 meals, your own bedroom with linens and a beautiful weekend full of growth, love and recovery. SPLIT payment: $350 to reserve a spot. $345 due on or before 7/31/23. For travel, it is located about 30 miles (45 minutes) from the Philadelphia International Airport. Estimated Uber/Lift each way is $50-$70. If you will be flying in, please let us know before booking your flight so we can try and coordinate similar arrival times and ride pick up for you.
