Anytime that you work the 12th Step in SLAA and “practice these principles in all areas of our lives,” you are doing service at the individual level. Here are some areas that demonstrate service in the SLAA fellowship:

• Welcome newcomers to a meeting
• Share your story or even just sharing to get current
• Send your experience, strength and hope to The Journal
• Start a Step-Study group

Your full participation in the fellowship is a great way of starting to get into service in its most direct form.
