Format:
During the retreat weekend we will read and share on the 12 Steps together. If you have worked on the Steps in this type of format before, you already know its value. If you have not done any study of the Steps, intensive or otherwise, this is a great way to do it, especially the first time.
Location: The Daylesford Abbey is a peaceful refuge where you can deepen your sense of personal and communal spirituality. The abbey grounds have over 80 acres of property and is located in Paoli, Pennsylvania.
Cost: Choice of commuter and non-commuter spaces available (limited to 22 non-commuter). Scholarships available upon request.
NON-COMMUTER WEEKEND: Attending as a participant and staying overnight Friday through Sunday (Participation in the step weekend, six meals, and a single bedroom for 2 nights are included) – $395 after 7/31/22 – $355 early registration until July 31, 2022
COMMUTER WEEKEND: Friday through Sunday but not staying overnight (Participation in the step weekend, six meals. No overnight stay) – $215 after 7/31/22 – $175 early registration until July 31, 2022
Meals: Six meals are included for both commuter and non-commuter participants. Contact retreat coordinator if you have to provide your own food for personal or religious reasons. Friday (dinner), Saturday (breakfast, lunch and dinner), Sunday (breakfast and lunch). A freezer, refrigerator and microwave are available to all participants in the upstairs lounge. Coffee & tea are also freely available throughout the weekend.

Cancellation Policy:
To receive a FULL REFUND, please contact the retreat coordinator IN WRITING NO LATER THAN 6 weeks prior to the date for which you are registered to attend. (before August 12, 2022)
Cancellations made less than 6 weeks (after August 12, 2022) prior to the retreat date WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL ONLY if your canceled space is filled. Partial refunds will be made at retreat coordinators discretion.
GDVI and coordinators reserve the right to cancel any weekend if it does not receive at least 15 reservations by the respective registration dates. You will be refunded in full if this occurs.
There is no sobriety requirement to attend, but participants MUST STAY SOBER DURING THE WEEKEND. This ensures that everyone can attend in safety and work together to expand our recovery. People will be asked to leave if they do not abide by this rule.
Come early Friday/Stay Sunday for Fellowship. Meet other attendees by arriving early, offer to do service, take a stroll on the Abbey grounds. Friday begins promptly at 7:15 pm and Sunday ends at 2:15 pm, please consider that in the planning of your trip.

Getting Current Meeting
-length of time depends on number of attendees, all attendees can go to bed or commuters can leave at any time after getting current meeting begins-
As a reminder, when you registered you have acknowledged this retreat requires all attendees to participate together to share and grow using the S.L.A.A. Basic Text. We all will learn from your own experience, strength and hope no matter how short or long you have been in recovery. Self-care may be taken at times you are not chosen for speaking/leading/service or during the scheduled break times.
